We are in an era where the number of phones in every household is almost equivalent to the number of adults and teenagers living in that household. Sometimes we do wake up to behold our phone bricked or malfunctioning.

In some occasions, we get blocked from using our device permanently due to over trying of wrong passwords on our phone by kids or friends.
Other times you might want to run an upgraded version of your phone operating system but unable to achieve that through online updates.
My dear, it is high time you had a phone flashing kit on your laptop or desktop.
If you are an android phone users I recommend “SP Flash Tools”.
Go to Google, search and download SP Flash Tools on your system. Or click this link to download it free.
After the download, it will come as a zip file. Then you will have to extract it into its own folder using any unzip App like Winrar or 7-Zip App on your system.
Another thing you will have to search on Google is your phone “firmware or Stock ROM”. Make sure you download the right one for your phone model. Now extract the downloaded file the same way you did for the SP Flash tool above.
Now you have this in place, you can Flash or recover your device any time you want using the firmware.
How to Flash Your Phone Using SP Flash Tool
To Flash or recover your phone using SP Flash tool. Follow the steps below.
- Open the folder where you extracted your SP Flash tool zip file into, open it, and double-click on the file named “flash_tool” to launch the SP Flash tool application.
- Then choose your “Scatter-loading File”. To do this, click on the choose button with a folder icon by the right to browser into the folder where you extracted your firmware. Inside the folder, select the Android_scatter text document and click open. The firmware will be loaded into your Flash tool.
- Now you can deselect the aspects of your phone you don’t want to flash by unchecking the checkbox. Example like user data if you want to retain your phone password settings and the preloader etc.
- Now click on the download button at the top of the window.
- You can now get the phone you want to flash, make sure it is turned off. Now connect it to your system using a USB cable. Then press volume up and down on your phone. If your system detects the phone, flashing Will start immediately and you observe that by the movement of a bar at the bottom of the window.
- If you have issues with the system detecting your phone. Try Pressing and holding the volume up and volume down button as you connect the phone to the system. If this doesn’t work, you have to install USB-VCOM-Drivers.
- Once the flashing is done, you will see a box with a green good tick. Close the box and the flashing tool. Then unplug your phone, power it on and enjoy a brand new android device Os.
