Have you seen a video you like on Facebook and wondered how you can download Facebook videos to your phone or system and watch it anytime you like offline?
Streaming a video online every time will most times cost you more mobile data than simply downloading the video to your hard drive and watching it whenever you like without the internet.
No more data wastage and no more sliding into your friend’s DM asking for the link to download Facebook videos they have posted on their Facebook wall.
Here are three easy options you can use to download any video you see on Facebook without any special App.
The first thing you have to do before downloading the video is to copy the video link or URL and that is the major thing.
It is an easy thing to do and you don’t have to be a computer guru to do that.
To copy any video link on Facebook, simply tap at the three horizontal dots at the top right of the video post you want to download, that is if you are watching directly from the person’s page that posted the video.
But if the video was shared by a friend, you have to tap on the video to be on a playing mode before taping the three dots to copy the link.
Once you tap the three horizontal dots, a menu will appear with lists of options. Tap or click on “Copy link”. Once clicked, the Facebook app will show an alert at the bottom that the link has been copied to the clipboard.
If you didn’t see any sign, don’t bother so far you touched the Copy link. Just go straight to any browser on your phone (eg. Chrome, Opera, or UC browser) whichever one you got, and visit any of the following websites.
Once you load any of these websites, you will see a text bar where you can post the link you copied.
Touch and hold on to the bar where you are supposed to post the link until a “paste” option appears. Select it and the link you copied will appear inside the bar.
If nothing showed as you touch and hold for some time; then you have to go back and recopy the link.
Now press enter and the app will search for the video and bring it out with a download button at its bottom.
Click on the download button and the download will start. Cool right?
Notes:
If you are using en.savefrom.net, once you click or tap download; you will be redirected out to another page while the video starts to download. Check your browser download settings to see the download progress and remember to cut the redirected link.
For fbdown.net the video might start playing once you clicked download depending on your browser. If this happens, search for three menu dots while the video plays and select them. You will now see the download option again, click on it and your download will start.
Remember keepvid.com only works on the desktop.
